The End of Batman.

Image
This blog post contains massive spoilers from The Dark Knight Rises. If you haven't seen it yet, do not read this post. I repeat, if you haven't seen the movie yet, don't read this post. Thank you.  (Don't say I didn't warn ya!) And so...I have seen The Dark Knight Rises. I have seen the final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. I have seen the "epic conclusion". And... 1. It was one hell of an experience.  2.It was awesome.  3. It was mind-fucking-blowing.  4. It was everything I had not expected. 5. It was beyond anything I ever imagined. Well, what can I say? Christopher Nolan is a genius. Didn't we already know that? His Batman movies are the only Batman movies that are worth watching. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight were bloody amazing. And TDKR was as amazing as the first two movies. It was so great words fail me. I couldn't find the right words to express the way I feel after watching this mov...

Movie Nights.

Image
Since I became a "penganggur terhormat", I spent my days downloading a bunch of movies, and spent my nights watching them. I downloaded more than 10 movies in a week, and trust me, I've seen lots of movies in the past month. More than 20, I believe. I had a "(put an actor's name here) Movie Marathon Night" (or should it be "Movie Night Marathon"? Hmm.) last week and it was wicked. I watched 2 movies (back-to-back) starred by my favourite actors; Jeremy Renner, Ryan Gosling & Bradley Cooper. I watched The Town & The Hurt Locker on "Jeremy Renner Movie Marathon Night", Crazy Stupid Love & Drive on "Ryan Gosling Movie Marathon Night", and Limitless & Valentine's Day on "Bradley Cooper Movie Marathon Night". And as for right now, I'm so into watching all the movies which have Michael Fassbender in it. I'm obsessed with this guy. I downloaded half of his filmography and watched all of them in ...

Fifty Shades of Grey.

Image
Have you read this book? Damn, this book is HOT! And by "hot", I mean Christian Grey. Not the....other things. ;) They're turning this book into a movie (now, now, who wouldn't have thought about that??), and now they're searching for a qualified actor to portray the character, Christian Grey. I heard the battle is down to two now; Ian Somerhalder vs Alexander Skarsgard. Both are well-known for being sexy vampires in The Vampire Diaries and True Blood respectively. And I must admit, they both are so damn hot, and have the qualities required to play Mr. Grey. But, I think they really need to consider casting other actors. Probably trying out Shiloh Fernandez? I like that boy! But I think it's sort of impossible to have Shiloh as Christian Grey. :( But whatever it is, I can't wait for the movie. Although I'm 100% sure the movie won't make its way to Malaysia... But there's always internet. ;)

The Hunger Games.

Image
"May the odds be ever in your favor..." The Hunger Games is my new favourite thing. Bought the books 2 weeks ago and spent 10 days reading them all. I spent 5 days on the 1st book (The Hunger Games), 1 day on Catching Fire & 4 days on Mockingjay. I gotta say, I'm hooked. When I started reading it, I was like, "No, I can't go or do anywhere. I have to finish this book." I even read it while I was working at the office. (Sorry, boss!) The books are so addictive, it's scary. I'll re-read it again soon.  Yesterday, I watched the movie with my bro. And ohmygod it was... Amazing. Awesome. Brilliant. Fantastic.  Magnificent . Mind-blowing. It was.....everything. Oh God,  I have so much to say about THG and  I don't even know how to start. Or rather, WHERE to start.... *headdesk* Ok, let's try..  The likes : I always find film never live up to the books expectations, so I've been slightly worried for this movie. It turned...

Dragon Tattoo-ed Girl.

Image
"The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo bt Stieg Larsson" I read the book a few weeks earlier, and I fell in love with it almost instantly. The storyline was so unique it literally blew my head off. I've always been into crime fictions since the very beginning of my "book-collecting era". Crime fictions > romantic novels. And last night, I watched the movie version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I loved it. I love how Rooney Mara portrayed her character as Lisbeth Salander who is highly introverted and has a photographic memory, which is so awesome. But I noticed that there were many holes in the movie. Quite disappointed they didn't include the parts where Mikael Blomkvist had an affair with Cecilia Vanger. And they even shortened the phrase Lisbeth tatttoo-ed on Nils Bjurman's abdomen. It was supposed to be "I AM A SADISTIC PIG, A PERVERT AND A RAPIST", they changed it to "I AM A RAPIST PIG" only. Wtf. And the part whe...

Thank You, Harry Potter.

Image
Once upon a time there was a wonderful story called Harry Potter . The story was not thousands and thousands of hours long, it was not prejudice or demanding, nor boastful or self-righteous. In fact, it was a simple story. It was a tale of an orphaned boy who thought he was alone in the world, and destined to be so forever. He soon discovered that friendship, love and family were waiting for him at an odd little place called Hogwarts. His friends and his foes fought valiantly through seven years of school, discovering that weaknesses could be overcome and strength could be encouraged through a simple thing called love. Harry Potter thought he was alone in the world, if only he knew that millions of people, like myself, saw him as so much more than a character, but as a friend. Tonight, I, like so many before me and so many yet to see, watched the final instalment of the Harry Potter film series. Like all of those prior, it was a rare piece of magic that was more than a joy to watch. Ho...

It All Ends.

Image
Harry Potter. I watched it yesterday with my good friend, Asfar (thanks for buying the tix days before it came out!) I have no words how to describe the movie. It was... Everything I thought it would be. HP7.2 (as I like to call it) was undoubtedly the best Harry Potter movie EVER! (It grossed approx $43.5M midnight showings, breaking the previous record of $30M set by Twilight Eclipse.) This last movie from the franchise toyed with my emotions a lot. Too heart-wrenching. I cried. Yes, I did. I cried when Snape died, I cried when Snape cried when Lily died. Confused? Me too. =__= But Severus Snape was truly a hero. As well as Minerva McGonagall. She stood up for Harry from the first to the very last. Neville Longbottom was the BAMF. He killed Nagini with the Gryffindor sword . A hero in disguise, that (grown up) kid. ;) There are scenes that I really love & scenes I really "hate".. Just cuz those scenes made me weep like a baby. The "liked" scenes. This is where...

Before The Finale.

Image
Here are some videos that we could all watch before the finale. *bawl* The speeches that were given by the golden trio & the queen. The press conference they did a few days before the London premiere. Let's cry together, shall we now?

#HarryPotterLive

Image
Darren Criss! The Harry Potter in the Very Potter Musical was there too! ;D The live stream of Harry Potter premiere just ended. I swear I cried a bit while watching it. Idk why I just feel so sad. This was the last premiere of HP's last movie. No more HP movies. No more premieres like this one. :( This premier was probably the craziest, most epic movie premier in the history of mankind. MADNESS! Everyone looked super stunning, especially Emma & Evanna Lynch. Their dresses are beautiful! The last interview with David Yates, David Heyman, Daniel, Emma, Rupert & JK Rowling was fucking emotional. I was crying when Emma was giving a speech. She cried, and so did Jo. I cried even more when Emma hugged Rupert after the speech. And when Rupert said "i love you" to Emma, my tears were flowing a river. David Heyman with "the golden trio" standing at the back. Emma's face was heart-breaking. :( My some other screen shots during the live stream. :) Robbie Coltr...

The Last One.

Image
My life is coming to an end. My life is going to be over in less than a month. My life's gonna be over on July 14. Literally. Harry Potter. Yes, the book.. The movie.. One of my obsessions.. Is coming to an end. The second part of the last movie comes out on July 14. I have less than a month to go. It's my new source of tears. I got teary-eyed everytime I watched the trailer. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I can't accept the fact that there will be no more Harry Potter movie after this one. No more Hermoine, no more Ron, no more Voldermort. No more. ;( There are times that I KNOW I'm gonna cry like a little child when I watch the movie. I'm gonna cry when... 1. Fred died. 2. Tonks & Remus died. 3. Snape died. 4. James, Lily & Sirius 'came back' to Harry in the form of spirits to be with him during his fight with Voldermort. 5. The credits rolling... Yes, definitely. Lily’s smile was widest of all. She pushed her long hair back as she drew close to him, and her...

Mission Accomplished.

Image
Garrett Hedlund (Sam Flynn) I have completed one of my life's missions, and that is watching Tron Legacy. Yup. It's been my life's mission since about a year ago. I've been waiting for the movie for so long. And yesterday, 18/12/10 was the day. :) The day began with me & the fam went out to search for things for my sister's wedding. I've told my parents that I wanted to watch Tron, alone. They sent me to Sunway Carnival Mall. I bought the ticket and a set of popcorns. That was the first time I watched a movie at the cinema alone. I didn't feel scared or anything. I felt so good about it. I felt independent. I had the double seats all for myself. xD The movie started at 3.15pm. Overall, the movie was simply the beast. I LOVE it. I'm a sucker when it comes to describing things, but the movie was so sick! So amazing, fantastic, magical, fascinating.... I love the whole concept of it. The graphics, the sound effects, the music.. The music, especially. A...

Tron Legacy.

Image
Prolly the most exciting poster ever! x) Tron Legacy is probably one of the most anticipated movie in 2010. I've been wanting to watch this movie since a year ago, when I watched the first trailer from the movie. Or maybe before the trailer's been released. Simply because my favorite actor is in the movie and he's playing the hero. Garrett Hedlund. Tron is his first major movie, in which he played the leading role. I feel like a proud mama! xD I watched the third trailer and it made me feel like going to the cinema at this very moment & watch the movie. But the movie's gonna be released tomorrow. -.- I'm pretty stoked about it. I'll try to persuade my brother to watch it with me. ;) I looooooove this interview video. Garrett looks pretty in it. And Olivia Wilde is gorgeous. (Ps: Look at her shoes..)

Percy Jackson & the Valentine's Day.

Image
"You're my bloody valentine..." So yeah, yesterday was a Valentine's Day. But why should I care? I don't celebrate the day. I'll be damned if I do. I don't even have a boyfriend since 2 years ago. So there goes another Single Awareness Day (SAD) for those who are single, like me! Yesterday, I hung out with my 2 BFFs, Iqbal & Ilham. We had sooooo much fun. Me & Iqbal went to watch "Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief". I must say that the movie was AWESOME! Logan Lerman is such a cutie & a very talented boy. The storyline was amazing. I was fascinated by the story of the Greek Gods and their kids, blah blah blah. That's just WOW. I loooovee it! ;D So Percy Jackson is a must-watch movie.
