Mission Accomplished.

Garrett Hedlund (Sam Flynn)
I have completed one of my life's missions, and that is watching Tron Legacy. Yup. It's been my life's mission since about a year ago. I've been waiting for the movie for so long. And yesterday, 18/12/10 was the day. :) The day began with me & the fam went out to search for things for my sister's wedding. I've told my parents that I wanted to watch Tron, alone. They sent me to Sunway Carnival Mall. I bought the ticket and a set of popcorns. That was the first time I watched a movie at the cinema alone. I didn't feel scared or anything. I felt so good about it. I felt independent. I had the double seats all for myself. xD The movie started at 3.15pm. Overall, the movie was simply the beast. I LOVE it. I'm a sucker when it comes to describing things, but the movie was so sick! So amazing, fantastic, magical, fascinating.... I love the whole concept of it. The graphics, the sound effects, the music.. The music, especially. As we all know, the soundtrack came from Daft Punk. And Daft Punk + Tron Legacy = FUCKING EPIC. Everything was perfect. It was definitely 10 out of 10 from me. ;) And, don't forget about the fact that they 'turned' the old Jeff Bridges young. Wow. I was amazed by it. Technologies nowadays..... :) Ok. Let's get to my favorite scenes. Well, the first one gotta be the battle at the grid. I adored the bikes. The 'lightcycle', as they called it. They glowed in the dark ok! So fucking beautiful. x) Sam's Ducati was also sick. Love it! ;)

The lightcycle.
BTW, back to the grid. I love the scene because it so looked real. And the way the game was played was also amazing, and mindfucked. I also love the disc battle scene between Sam and the programs (before they found out that he was actually a user, not a program). The disc was used as a weapon in the battle, which was absolutely cool. The fact that EVERYTHING was glowing in the dark made me feel ecstatic. I love glow in the dark stuff, lol. ;)

The hot Olivia Wilde (Quorra) with the disc.
And they were 2 sad scenes. The first one would be when Sam met his father for the first time since he disappeared. Sam actually cried. Man, seeing Garrett Hedlund cried.. It broke my heart to see him cried.. (LOL!) And the second sad scene was when he had to leave his father behind, and his father died with Clu. And his father asked him to take Quorra with him, back to the earth. Damn! It was so sad. T_T So overall... If you're into an action-packed movie, this movie is for you. Trust me, you won't disappoint. Just give it a shot, bet it'll blow your mind like it did to me. To be honest, I got a lot more out of it than I expected. Kudos to everyone who was behind the production of this movie. And kudos to my fav actor since 2005, Garrett Hedlund for a great, great acting. :D
