Life On The Outernet

Today was bloody epic. Lawson live in KL. The best gig I've ever been to. The loudest, the greatest. Lots of things happened. I met some nice people. Made some new friends. It was my luckiest day. I never ever felt this way before.  Me & Eida.  I was nervous today, I was nervous the day before. I was about to meet & greet the boys before the showcase. I got the M&G pass from a girl who sold it for RM50 each. I was willing to pay anything for a chance to meet (and hug) them. So me & Eida booked the passes & hoping she would not change her mind. My day started at 8.30am. I woke up, took a shower & dressed up. I had my breakfast 20 mins later & made my way to KL Sentral to meet up with Eida & her friend (who is now my friend as well), Ari. Then, we made our way to KLCC. We arrived there around 11am, and people were already lining up. I thought we were gonna be the first ones to arrived. (Life said, "not a chance!") ...

Yesterday was epic. Paramore Live in KL. Me & my BFF's 2nd concert together. :') We got to the venue waaaay too early. 12 pm. And we had to sit on a concrete for SIX hours before the doors were open. (My butt hurts ever since...) I met up with my twitter friend, Fizi a few hours before 6pm. Glad to finally met him! :) Six hours later..... The doors were open. No A door WAS open. Singular. For us Rock Zone ticket holders. And there were like, 5674890273 people trying to get into the stadium through ONE door. Wtf. People were pushing and pushing. They made us look like underprivileged civilians who wanted to get their hands on some food. I thought I was gonna die. And the guards made us wait for 30 more minutes before they let us in. Another wtf moment.  Before the show. And we were finally in the stadium, woo! We made it to the second row. And yeah, we got a VERY clear view of the stage and the people who were on it. ;) Paramore's...

Today was the day. Avril Lavigne Black Star Tour Live in KL. The day started off with me waking up at 6.15am, because my sister bought me a 7.45am bus ticket. It turned out that the bus didn't leave at 8.15am as expected, but left at 8.30am instead. >.< Spent the next 5 hours sleeping & listening to Avril's songs, just to get myself prepared for the concert. x) Arrived in KL around 1.30pm. It rained cats & dogs while I was waiting for my BFF to pick me up at Pudu Sentral. We were both scared it might rain this hard during the concert. We both prayed hard. I decided to have a late lunch at Pelita Nasi Kandar in Bangsar. It was around 3pm. Sat there eating, drinking & talking about most things that happened in our daily lives. Went to Stadium Merdeka at 4.30pm. Went there by LRT instead of car because; 1) Easier & cheaper. No petrol charges. 2) No need to get stuck in a traffic-fucking-jam. In the last post, I talked about my experience seeing Neon Trees live. In this post, I'll be telling you about my very first Mars experience. No, this isn't about Mars, the planet. This is about something more than just a planet. It's about 3 amazingly talented men who formed a band and called themselves "30 Seconds To Mars". :) They kicked off the show (at 10pm) with "Escape". Shannon was amazing with the drumbeats seconds before Escape started. Jared performed this song with Pythagoras (his beautiful white guitar) & with his glasses on. Damn! He looked so.... Jared. Yummilicious. The second song was "A Beautiful Lie". Ok, this was where my chemicals kicking in. I sang a-long to the song the way I never did before. The show continued with "Attack". First of all, I would like to say thank you to Miss Syu for the MTV WS free pass, and thanks to Sis Ju for the company. It was a pleasure going to the WS with you. ;) We were at iCity since 1.30pm. The 1st gate opened at 3.30pm & the second one at 6pm. The show ended around 11.30pm. BEST. DAY. EVER. (PS: I honestly didn't give much crap about Pop Shuvit & BEAST. Especially BEAST. Like I said, I dislike KPop oh so much!) July 24 th , 2011. The day when a dream of mine came true. I was a part of this year’s MTV World Stage. I got to see not one, but two of my favourite bands. I rocked out with Neon Trees & 30 Seconds To Mars. It was an awesome experience. Everything felt surreal. Neon Trees took the stage at 9pm. They started with “In The Next Room”.
