World Stage: Where A Dream Came True (Part 1)
First of all, I would like to say thank you to Miss Syu for the MTV WS free pass, and thanks to Sis Ju for the company. It was a pleasure going to the WS with you. ;)
We were at iCity since 1.30pm. The 1st gate opened at 3.30pm & the second one at 6pm. The show ended around 11.30pm.

(PS: I honestly didn't give much crap about Pop Shuvit & BEAST. Especially BEAST. Like I said, I dislike KPop oh so much!)
July 24th, 2011. The day when a dream of mine came true. I was a part of this year’s MTV World Stage. I got to see not one, but two of my favourite bands. I rocked out with Neon Trees & 30 Seconds To Mars. It was an awesome experience. Everything felt surreal. Neon Trees took the stage at 9pm. They started with “In The Next Room”. Not many people know the song, so I just sang a-long to the song. Then, they continued with “Your Surrender”. Some of the boys behind me sang a-long to the song. I thought that was pretty cool because they actually know the song that not so many people do. After that, they performed “Love & Affection”. Again, I was probably the only one in my area who knows the song and sang a-long to it. Then came a song, which I don’t know the title, but managed to sing some words at the chorus. Lol. Then, wohoo! “1983” came on and I sang my heart out. Tyler was amazing. He communicated a lot with us. He was acting funny too. The way he danced... I can’t even. ;D After that, came another song that I’m not familiar with. But I still jumped and danced around, btw. Then, they played “Sins Of My Youth”..! One of my most favourite songs. I loved it when Tyler asked us to sing the part “I’ve got these habits that I cannot...” along with him. It felt so awesome to do so. We did a great job, I guess. :) And then came the last song... I bet you could tell what the last song was... Before they played the song, Tyler told us a ‘story’ about him when he was 16. He went up the mountain with a girl and they were sitting under the sky with stars above them. Suddenly, the girl started to change. She became an animal, and the girl said, “Oh, oh, I want some more.” Tyler said, “What are you waiting for? Take a bite of my heart tonight.” Haha, cool story, bro! Loved that! :D Btw, the last song was “Animal”. The crowd went ecstatic, wild and crazy. God, I love that moment. We were all jumping and singing to the song, word by word. The performance from Neon Trees ended at 9.45pm. :’) I think they did an amazing job. Tyler was so natural on stage. Elaine was, well, Elaine. Rocking hard with the drums. She was great! Chris & Branden were super cool!
