Night of Our Lives.

Today was the day. Avril Lavigne Black Star Tour Live in KL. The day started off with me waking up at 6.15am, because my sister bought me a 7.45am bus ticket. It turned out that the bus didn't leave at 8.15am as expected, but left at 8.30am instead. >.< Spent the next 5 hours sleeping & listening to Avril's songs, just to get myself prepared for the concert. x) Arrived in KL around 1.30pm. It rained cats & dogs while I was waiting for my BFF to pick me up at Pudu Sentral. We were both scared it might rain this hard during the concert. We both prayed hard. I decided to have a late lunch at Pelita Nasi Kandar in Bangsar. It was around 3pm. Sat there eating, drinking & talking about most things that happened in our daily lives. Went to Stadium Merdeka at 4.30pm. Went there by LRT instead of car because; 1) Easier & cheaper. No petrol charges. 2) No need to get stuck in a traffic-fucking-jam. We arrived there 15 minutes later. WOAH! So many people queuing in the TT Zone already! :( We joined the queue & waited very patiently for the main gate to open at 7pm. While waiting, I saw many types of human kind. Boys, girls, men, women. Most importantly, I saw Jason Lo & he waved at us! Wohoo! xD 7pm, the gate was finally opened. Once we were inside, I started to feel so freaking excited. We ran to the front of the stage. I didn't care about how the act could ruin my shoes since it rained before & the field was a bit "lecah/becak". The place where we were standing was quite near to the stage. Near to the left-hand side speakers (right-hand side, if you were on the stage). Gosh, it was exciting! Stood there for a hour before DJ Nadine (former Miss Malaysia 2010, I think) hopped onto the stage & started blasting her DJ track. 8.30pm, time for the Black Star to take over the stage. Yeeeaahh! But before that, they played some tracks from different bands. What made me almost pissed in my pants was they played Mars' "This Is War"! I couldn't help but sing a long to it. It brought back the World Stage memory, tho. :') 8.40pm... AVRIL LAVIGNE!!!!! Anyway, I'm too lazy to write, or comment about what happened during every song performed (like I did in my WS posts way before this...), so I'm just gonna list down the songs she sang for the night. :)

Overall, her performance was A M A Z I N G. Her band mates were brilliant. I was sooooooooooooooo glad she decided to include my most favourite song from Goodbye Lullaby into her set list, and that is "I Love You". This was one of the best nights in my 20-going-on-21-years of existence. The fact that I went to the concert with my BFF of 11 years made it extra extra special.

18/2/2012 = The night I'll never forget

(Oh, sorry for the lack of photos. Cameras weren't allowed in the stadium, and the security was pretty tight. I could have successfully smuggle my camera but I wouldn't take a risk. Besides, it was raining during the concert. The last thing I need was to break my camera. And I went to the concert to enjoy every moment of it, not taking pictures or videos.
