World Stage: Where A Dream Came True (Part 2)

In the last post, I talked about my experience seeing Neon Trees live. In this post, I'll be telling you about my very first Mars experience. No, this isn't about Mars, the planet. This is about something more than just a planet. It's about 3 amazingly talented men who formed a band and called themselves "30 Seconds To Mars". :)

They kicked off the show (at 10pm) with "Escape". Shannon was amazing with the drumbeats seconds before Escape started. Jared performed this song with Pythagoras (his beautiful white guitar) & with his glasses on. Damn! He looked so.... Jared. Yummilicious. The second song was "A Beautiful Lie". Ok, this was where my chemicals kicking in. I sang a-long to the song the way I never did before. The show continued with "Attack". OMG I spent my entire voice to this song. Simply because this is my most favourite song in A Beautiful Lie. ;) I sang the part, "And I am finally free!" with all of my heart. xD The next song was "Search and Destroy". What made me disappointed was the crowd didn't actually sing-a-long to this song. I could swear I was the only one in my area who sang the "A little million pieces we've broken in two" part. =.= I wonder if all of them were "true" Mars fans. Hurm. Onto the next song, it was "This Is War". The energy the crowd produced during this song was overwhelming, I almost cried. :') After the song, Jared came with his acoustic guitar and started playing "100 Suns". Oh, his voice was so amazing, as always. Next song on the set list was "Vox Populi". This was another song that I spent most of my vocal on. Suddenly I remembered the boy who was standing in front of my while waiting for the 1st gate to open. He was blasting this song from his phone and sang a-long to it. I wonder if he sang this song out loud with Mars. :) Then, it was time for "Hurricane"! Jared asked, "Have you ever heard of a song called Hurricane?" I responded with, "YES! The sexiest song ever!" And no, he didn't hear it, of course. =_= Jared played the song acoustically. Acoustic Hurricane = PURE SEXINESS. An impressive amount of noises came from the crowd when Jared sang the part, "Do you really want me..??" and put his hand on his chest as if he was asking us, "DO YOU REALLY WANT ME??" And most of the crowd said YES! HAHA. BEST PART EVER. x) Who wouldn't want you, Jared. Who wouldn't? #sexualfrustration lmao! After the song, Jared wasn't sure which song to perform next. He said he would like to perform Alibi & The Kill but he didn't have much time so he settled on "The Kill". I would die to hear him perform Alibi, but no. I didn't think I could bear hearing him sing the song. You know, Alibi is a very, very nice song, and I cried everytime I heard it. So I was a bit glad he chose The Kill instead. :) And he killed it. He killed "The Kill" with the acoustic version. Gosh, it was so beautiful. It felt great singing a-long to to the acoustic version of The Kill. :') And after that, came the song I love the most. The song that's in my list of 'all-time fav songs'. "Closer To The Edge". Before they perform the song, Jared asked us to do the routine for CTTE, which was screaming "No, no, no, no!" with a fist in the air. Ahh, I enjoyed the moment so much. :'D OH! He also asked a guy with a red shirt to be on stage! OMG! I WAS GREEN WITH ENVY!! And then he asked another person to come on stage. This time, it was a girl. THEY. GOT. TO. TOUCH. JARED. SHIT! T___T Well, I'm not gonna lie. I cried while singing a-long to CTTE. When the confetti blown off, I cried even harder. That was a time when I could not find a suitable word to describe how I was feeling. That was probably why I cried. I never wanted it to be over. An hour with Mars wasn't enough. :'(

*5 minutes later*

The crowd was chanting "Kings and Queens! Kings and Queens!" And Mars came back on stage!! ENCORE!!!!! AHHHH!! I screamed. I was green with envy once again. Jared asked a whole lot of people to get on stage, and most of them were the X-Zoners, who were in the front row. Fuuuuckk. T__T They got to touch Jared, Shan & Tomo. *crey crey crey* Nvm. At least I got to sing my heart out to "Kings and Queens". :') When Jared was saying goodbye & all, I felt like crying, but the tears just won't came out. K, that's the end of it.

90 minutes, 11 songs, 3 men, 1 band, 1 magical night.
Thank you, 30 Seconds To Mars for a magical performance, for a night to remember.
Most importantly, for making my dream come true.
Trust me people, dreams do come true sometimes. Mine had. :)
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
30 Seconds To Mars. Always.
