When Two Worlds Collide.

FOOTBALL. "It was a North London murder show by the Manchesters in the BPL on Sunday, when United shattered Arsenal, 8-2, and City routed Tottenham, 5-1.." Anything City can do, United can do better. Obviously. Duh. What can I say? Manchester United is one brilliant team. They showed it through last night's match against Arsenal. Who would've thought that Arsenal would get the thrashing? Humiliating, I must say. It was THE BEST match I've seen in years. Thank you, Man United for the great performance. It was one hell of a game. Gutted! Bravo, guys! Watching the match was like watching Wonder Kids vs Kids. We are the Wonder Kinds, obviously. We CAN win with WONDER kids, extraordinary kids. So, yeah... GGMU! MUSIC. MTV Video Music Awards 2011. I missed the "live" show earlier this morning. I was a bit sad cuz I missed out on Mars on the black carpet. :( Moments later, I found out that they didn't win a thing. They got 3 noms and got ho...

Dreams or Money.

I feel like talking about football in this post. And so I will. Hello, to all my loyal readers (as if I have any...) ! I don't care if you're a fan or not a fan of football, I'm gonna post this entry anyway. Heh. First of all, I would like to stress out one thing. I am a MASSIVE, SUPER HUGE fan of a football club named Manchester United , and the things that I'm gonna say in this post will probably sound bias. But still, who cares. My blog, my word. ;) K, let's talk about the latest transfers that rock the football world. Samir Nasri's move to Manchester City got my whole attention. Even Cesc Fabregas' move to Barca can't top that. I mean, WTH! I always think that footballers who joined City are after only one thing, and that is MONEY. Ka-chingg! If they said, "it was my dream to join City", they suck balls. Who would join a club that rarely win trophies?? Who would join a club that only this time qualified for the Champions League?? (I...

MTV World Stage: A Month After.

"I'm still breathing, but I'm barely alive. It's like a piece of me is gone.." Truth to be told, I haven't been listening to 30 Seconds To Mars and Neon Trees like I used to, after July 24th. I couldn't, because I would cry every single time I hear their songs. I never cried while listening to their songs before. Well, except for "Alibi" because that song is freaking sad and gave me chills. I can't not feel sad everytime their songs are being played. I don't know why. All I know is I can still hear the screams & noises we made when 30 STM & NT were on stage. I still remember every second of it, and I can't simply erase those images & sounds from my memory box. I miss iCity. I miss MTV World Stage. I miss Neon Trees. I miss 30 Seconds To Mars. If I could rewind the time & re-live the day, I would. I definitely would. :'( I miss every moment of it. A lot.

Hot New Favourite Band.

I am slightly addicted to "Hot Chelle Rae". Listen to their songs to know WHY I like them. :) "I bleed my heart out on this paper for you, so you can see what I can't say.. I'm dying here, Cuz I can't say what I want to.. I bleed my heart out just for you..."

Life Of A Student.

I am a student. Will be graduating next year. I am busy. Like, VERY busy. I have projects to work for. Let's start with the 'most interesting' project that we've got. ENTREPRENEURSHIP II. Yes, part 2. I thought we were so over it last semester, but no. We still have to deal with another one. GOSH, this is the most terrifying subject in the history of ever! We need to set up a REAL BUSINESS. The real deal. Unlike ETR I, this time we need to do everything by ourselves. This includes the capital aka modal for the business. FYI, we have already started the business & the business is currently running. We have received orders from the students, which is cool, btw. Now only we can feel what's it like to run a business. IT IS NOT EASY, I tell ya! Hard work is needed, as well as cooperation & leadership. Enough about ETR II. Let's proceed to the second project. PUBLIC SPEAKING. I'm not sure how I should feel about this subject. This subject is...

Interview: Neon Trees.

Image
The day after their energetic performance at the 2011 MTV World Stage in Malaysia, we caught up with Neon Trees and were pleasantly surprised to see how much fun they had in them, even after a massively rocking night on stage. Speaking exclusively to Tyler Glenn (vocals), Chris Allen (guitar), Branden Campbell (bass) and Elaine Bradley (drums), we found out what they almost named the band, the cool police escort they had to MTV World Stage and their habits. Did you guys get to do any sightseeing while in Malaysia? Tyler: No, but I've been taking mental notes because there's so many places to see but I've only seen glimpses of on this trip. So I wanna come back in the next 3-5 years. 3-5 years??! That's a long time! Tyler: Yeahhh, I know! Elaine: We have a busy schedule! Chris: It was kind of a long drive to the venue, so we got to see a lot of the landscape and it was very beautiful. Branden: It was kinda quick though with our police escort. Elaine: Yeah! We...

World Stage: Where A Dream Came True (Part 2)

In the last post, I talked about my experience seeing Neon Trees live. In this post, I'll be telling you about my very first Mars experience. No, this isn't about Mars, the planet. This is about something more than just a planet. It's about 3 amazingly talented men who formed a band and called themselves "30 Seconds To Mars". :) They kicked off the show (at 10pm) with "Escape". Shannon was amazing with the drumbeats seconds before Escape started. Jared performed this song with Pythagoras (his beautiful white guitar) & with his glasses on. Damn! He looked so.... Jared. Yummilicious. The second song was "A Beautiful Lie". Ok, this was where my chemicals kicking in. I sang a-long to the song the way I never did before. The show continued with "Attack". OMG I spent my entire voice to this song. Simply because this is my most favourite song in A Beautiful Lie. ;) I sang the part, "And I am finally free!" with all ...
