A Little Something About Me.

My name is Syafiqa Durrani. My family called me Ika. My closest friends called me Ika. My schoolmates called me Syafiqa, college mates called me Durrani. Ieka Durrani is the name I used on the internet. Internet friends called me Ieka :) I got a couple of addictions. I’m addicted to music, football and social networking sites. I started to properly listen to music when I was 9. I still remember on one evening , my sis tuned in to an English radio station called Hitz.FM. I was hooked since then. I fell in love with English-language songs and until now, I’m like the biggest fan of English songs. My first favourite band? Linkin Park. :D I started reading and buying English magazines when I was 11. My first mag? Galaxie, of course! I swear I never missed even one issue of Galaxie from then till now. I’m a loyal fan :) I became a football fan in the year 2002, when the FIFA World Cup 2002 was held in Korea & Japan. The first ever team I love? Deutschland fussball Nationalmannschaft. Fell in love with them when they played against USA in the semi-final. They won and went to the WC final. I swear my heart was broken to pieces when they were beaten 2-0 by Brazil :/ From the WC, i sarted watching football matches involving clubs. Manchester United was the first club I supported. Fell in love with their style of play and they had a couple of talented players at that time. Besides, my brother is a massive fan of Man Utd. Bayern Munich is my second favourite club after Man Utd. I became a fan of Bayern after the end of 2006 FIFA World Cup which was held in Germany. Let’s talk about social networking sites. It has been a huge part of my life since I discovered Friendster & Myspace back in the year 2005. November 2005, I registered myself Friendster & Myspace. I still have my Myspace account, though I have no idea what happened to my Friendster account. :S Now, Twitter & Tumblr are my most favourite sites on the net. Apart from Facebook, Twitter & Tumblr had played a massive role in ‘guiding’ me through life. :) I guess that’s pretty much of everything about me which i would love to share with you guys.

Lots of things happened on the first day of the new year... 1. Avril Lavigne gave away her new song, "What the Hell" on her FB, for free. (we have to download it, of course.) 2. I was tired as fuck. 3. Missed Man United's first goal. 4. Man United won 2-1 against West Bromwich Albion. 5. Wayne Rooney scored his first goal since March 2010. 6. They're still unbeaten in the league. 7. They're still at the top of the table. 8. I didn't get the chance to be on "my favorite site" today. 9. Jared the Fashionisto.

I think my blog has now become a Jared Leto's appreciation blog or something because I can't seem to stop posting anything about him lately. Pardon a mi. I'm just a fan of him & 30 Seconds to Mars. :/ Ok. So.. Since I became his die-hard-fan a long time ago, I've been watching this guy very closely. From his hairstyles to his fashion sense and I gotta say I'm impressed. He has a very good sense of fashion & he's definitely a fashionisto. He nailed every clothes he wears. I mean, he's definitely good in mix and match. And he has a looooooot of great jackets. Not to mention, the shoes.... I WANT THEM ALL!! Dayum man! He owns not one, but THREE Defector jackets from "Straight to Hell"..! Damn, I looooooooove the white one. *sigh* This is the jacket where he wore during the photoshoot for This is War Deluxe's booklet. It was from EMP. Paramore LIVE in KL, baby!!

OoooooooooomiGod! I'm freaking out!! I almost screamed my lungs out.. as well as running like a maniac when I heard about the news. It said that Paramore will be coming to our shore on October 19th. I found this out from Junk onl ine. OMG! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE THE DAY I WAS BORN!!!! Well, that's a lie. I've been waiting for this since they dropped their oober-fantastico-und-amazing 2nd album, Riot!, like 3 years ago. They're finally gonna be here! And I couldn't afford to miss it. I hope I could go with Iqbal. OHMYGOD, please, I REALLY wanna goooo...... :) I wanna sing along with this super talented girl, Hayley Williams. It has been our dream to see them live in our very own country. :)
