A Trip to Marang, Terengganu.

Last Friday (28th May 2010), we (except for my bro) went to Terengganu for a wedding. My cousin, Amzar was getting hitched with a Terengganu girl named Norrehan. For the first time in oh-so many years, I woke up at 5.30 in the morning. That was excessively early for me, but I was pretty excited for the trip. We dressed up and started our journey at 7AM. It took us almost 7 hours of journey. We arrived there at two-something PM. Pak Cik Azhar had booked an (almost) entire beach house for all of us. We stayed at Angullia Beach House in Marang and the bride’s home is so near from the beach house. The girls (and women) had to sleep upstairs. The room had four queen beds and it was pretty huge. I loved it. Many of my family members were there. I finally met Kak Lin’s second daughter, Rifqah. She is freaking cute and smart. Azril was there, too but he got sick so he didn’t want any of us near him. :/ First day went well. The ‘akad nikah’ ceremony was held at Tengku Zahirah’s mosque near our beach house, at five-something PM on the same day (Friday). Later at night, we went out. We wanted to go to Mydin Mall in KT but we got lost. Abang Faizal was there and he knew the ‘jalan’ so we all followed him. when we arrived, there were freaking lot of cars! It was Wesak, meaning’s that it was holiday, so yeah... We cancelled our plan and went to a restaurant near Pantai Batu Burok instead. The restaurant was called Restoran Nil and I swear I would never go there again. We were left starving for an hour! Grr...!!! X( I had a nasi goring USA. The food was pretty nice. Nasib baik lah. If tak sedap, I’m so gonna kill them! I went to sleep at 1AM.

On the next day, I woke up at eight-something in the morning. It was an awakening by Rifqah’s shoes. :D The wedding reception started at 2.30PM and it went well. That night was the best. We were talking and laughing like a bunch of crazy people who live in a beach house. Haha! There were a prankster and she has an issue with her mouth. She talked a lot! She is sooooo funny! xD On the next day pulak, we were busy packing our things as we were going back home. Before that, we went to Noor Arfa Craft Centre. Abah bought a batik shirt for the wedding in KL. Then, we singgah at kedai keropok lekor before we went straight to home. We arrived at home at 9.30PM. :)
